Role

Vicky coaches in our Hot Shots, Cardio Tennis, and Skills & Drills programmes alongside private lessons. She started coaching in the UK and moved to NZ in 2004, where she has coached and competed at several clubs across Auckland.

Qualifications and Experience

With over 20 years of experience, Vicky first coached in Northampton in the UK, before moving to NZ. She was at Ngataringa TC for seven years with three of those being as Head Coach. Voted Tennis Northern ‘Coach of the Year’ in 2010, Vicky brings a wealth of experience to the development team.

She places a high value on competing, having represented her club, county and university in the UK, before playing Chelsea Cup in NZ. She continues to compete in top-grade doubles. To help Kiwi kids compete, she spent four years as co-director and tournament manager of Main Draw Ltd.

An LTA and DCA-qualified coach, Vicky also has a Physical Education and Sports Science degree from Loughborough University.
She is also First Aid Trained and a registered TNZ Coach.
